Over the past two weeks, i have had reoccuring dreams regarding my grandmothers house. in the past this would have not been unusual however she passed away in july of 2008 and i have not been to her home in almost 3 years. we are trying to sell her home but have been unsucessful. I have dreams every night about her home and a certain room inparticular. I also have had another dream in which my sister and i find another room and all of my granmothers belongings are in there. every night the dreams are different but similar in many regards. I wake up from these dreams, remeber them very vividly and even when i eventually go back to sleep i continue with the same dream, which has never happened to me. I need some help interpreting what this may mean and also cold my grandmother be trying to tell me something? i need some closure to this issue, i simply cannot sleep peacfully.

I think that going the process of selling the house is bringing up thoughts of your grandmother's death. You may feel that by selling the house you are giving up a part of her that she left behind.

I like what Marcia said above; the loss of a family member has powerful repercussions on us, and your grandmother's house may have many meanings to you from childhood love and comfort to unresolved conflict and family secrets that aren't healed. Maybe you should find out what the rooms are, and what the contents of the rooms mean to you?

I also believe that there are paranormal aspects to dreams, but I find it's important to explore the symbolic meanings of dreams first.
