Sometimes my dreams are full of symbols. This dream is just like that. It was a quick dream just before I woke up. My real life is busy with lots of anxiety and I can't seem to find a comfortable place for my feelings. It is possible that the dream contains symbols reflecting the choatic aspects of my emotions.

One symbol is quite interesting to me and I am curious what yall think of it. It is the "podium" in the "place where politicians speak." I really don't know what this might be. In my opinion, politicians are people that say whatever they have to to get re-elected. They have no true value to society except that the shuffle (and often take credit for) the ideas of others while writing laws to protect themselves above all else. This might has some bearing on the dream symbol but I am not sure.

Here is the dream as I wrote it down at 4am in the morning:

In this dream, I am in a garden area. There is
a hedge with barbed wire around it. The hedge
and barded wire fence are rectangular in shape.

They are in the center of the garden. The area
inside the middle of the hedge contains a podium.
The podium is where the politicians speak. I am
not supposed to go there.

The hedge and surrounding barbed wire fence are
low and I step over them both into the bricked
area where the politicians speak. As I step over
them, I become scared about two items. One of the
items I hold and it is a sceptor. I do not have
the other item and I am afraid that Satan or
some bad person will get both of them. If they
get both of them then there will be devastation.
There is a feeling of fear in the dream associated
with the bad person getting both items.

The second item isn't clear but it might have
been a crown or other garment warn by a king
or other dignitary.

I wake up.

Since you associate a podium with a place where politicians say whatever they have to in order to get elected, maybe to you, a podium symbolises dishonesty or someone trying to trick you or deceive you.

Perhaps that has something to do with the concept of Satan in the dream.

The part where you step over the barbed wire could represent how you handle problems in reality. Barbed wire is a barrier that if one tries to cross can get hurt. You are learning to "step beyond" barriers and deal with issues of people in your life that you deem dishonest, like the politicians.
