Sweet Slumber,
Thank you for the thoughtful comment.
Alpha and Omega is quite interesting. Looking at the wiki on Alpha and Omega, the greek letters together gave me pause. They do have meaning and it is related to the dream but I am not quite able to grasp it completely.
It did occur to me while looking at the wiki that Aziz is close to Axis and I searched for Axis symbol. Something about the eagle shape also led me to Axis although I am not sure why.
The Axis symbol got me to this quote:
"A common shamanic concept, and a universally told story, is that of the healer traversing the axis mundi to bring back knowledge from the other world."
Reading this sentence made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. My current life "pursuit" is knowledge and I wish to grow spiritually. Axis mundi seems to fit with other symbols in the dream. Here are some ideas:
- The robot is my body. It is like a machine that I ride in. This is like res extensa.
- The robot is shaped as a phallic symbol, ie, libido (desire, lust).
- The bus is me going ahead in life; my direction in life; my goals of gaining spiritually.
- The goals are interrupted by the robot and the superhero steps in to help.
- Aziz or Axis mundi is a symbol of the magic that is given to me to choose. I can give in to the robot and go "backwards" in my goals or proceed forward by choice.
Putting it all together, the dream seems to show my libido pulling me back from the direction I wish to pursue. There is a way for me to fight or resist the drag of the robot by using the Aziz (Alpha and Omega) symbol or the Axis mundi (knowledge from another world) symbol.
These are just some ideas that I got after reading your reply.
best regards,
magiknight
