Sea Dragons and a lucid dream
Folks,
I would like to share another dream that I had recently. The dream had
some interesting feelings associated with it when I woke up during the night.
The dream starts out with me in my childhood home. I am sleeping in that
house. There is a theater in the house where people go to watch a show.
The show is fancy or for the wealthy. The floods start from this area of the
house.
Suddenly there is a flood. The flood waters are coming up from the floor
and the floor appears to be liquid. I can see things swimming in the liquid
floor. I try to run away to other areas of the house, but the floor is changing
everywhere.
Sea dragons show up through the floor. I can only see there large heads.
These are Chinese river dragons like in the book "The Pearl." The Sea
Dragons are swimming around and I am jumping back and forth to avoid
them.
The house has ghosts in it which I think are old memories.
I am afraid that it is the end of the world. The sea is coming.
There is a woman in a room with me. She looks to be a normal person
and she is pregnant. Suddenly the child is born and it is a small Sea
Dragon. The head and body swim out from her. It goes into the water
of the floor.
I realize that she isn't human like I am. The police show up to take her
away since she isn't human and they know this now (before they didn't
realize this about her so she was allowed to stay around).
I try to avoid the floods from the floor but they are coming up more and
more. There doesn't appear to be anywhere else to run in the house.
[At this point, I wake up. This is a partial wakeup followed by a lucid
dream.]
In the lucid dream, I am looking at myself on my bed sleeping. I can see
myself on the bed dreaming and I know it is a dream. From the floor
beside my bed a Sea Dragon head comes up from the floor.
I can see amazing details of the dragon's head including large eyebrows,
the broad nose, and various coloring of the face area. The Sea Dragon
looks at me while I am sleeping with an expression of mirth. (At least,
I feel mirth while watching the dream in my lucid awareness.)
The Sea Dragon opens it's mouth and I see a forked, snake like tongue
come out. The tongue reaches across the space and licks my face. It
appears that the dragon is tasting me as if to judge me or test me.
(I have a feeling of being very small in comparison to the Sea Dragon.
It is the feeling that one might have when looking at a baby. There is an
idea that I get from the Sea Dragon questioning who I am, what gives me
the right to dream of this beast? This feeling comes to me after I wake up.)
I wake up. It is 3:30am. There is a feeling in my bedroom that somebody
is there or somebody was just there. This feeling comes from a sound in the
corner and a rustling sound in the other room. The curtains move in the
room and this furthers the feeling. There is a sound from the kitchen of
something falling. The hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up
and I am completely freaked out. I write down the dream in my journal.
(Later in the morning, I found a package of bagels on the floor along
with a bag of chips. These fell off the refrigerator.)
