Default Anyone else can't move in their dreams?

Sorry this is so long, I was actually just typing this to myself to see if I could find anything out about it. I then stumbled on to this website and wondered if anyone have these dreams? I asked a few of my close friends if they have them and they all said they never did and that it was weird.

1st time. Stuck on a roller coaster with vague memory, of a laughing clown? It is dark all around and there’s nothing to be seen. I cannot move as the roller coaster locks me up, I close my eyes and struggle to open them in real life. After waking up or what I think I woke up, I close my eyes again and there is laughter, all around me, I think I’m awake at the moment but I am still asleep. I look around my room yet the laughter keeps growing louder and louder. I wake up once more but every time I go to sleep the laughter comes back.

I have these dreams a few more times where I’m frozen and I cannot move, only sometimes am I able to shut or open my eyes, and there is always laughter. And it is always dark, I don’t know what’s going on but I seem to constantly wake up from this dream just to go back to sleep and this happens all over again a few more times until I either just accept it or dream of something else by chance.

June 8th 2010, I have the dream again, it is dark and there is a loud laughter coming from the darkness, yet again I’m frozen and cannot move anything, my eyelids are shut and I’m aware I’m in a dream as always yet I struggle to wake up. I finally wake up and look around, I’m sure I am awake and look around at my surroundings. I close my eyes and once again there is laughter, I open my eyes in my dreams to see everything the same as when I closed them to sleep, the fan is spinning, the blanket I had remembered looks the same, yet there is laughter coming from the air. I vaguely remember a face lying next to me on the bed, was it a white mask? I cannot remember what he says but I believe he tells me what is wrong; he taunts me and laughs at me. I constantly try to take control of my dreams and what I imagine becomes very vivid, yet I can’t fully take control of it and the face constantly keeps pulling me back and talking to me.

This is the first time there is actually a conversation in these dreams, usually there is nothing but laughter and darkness and rarely am I able to see anything, if I do see something it is just my room yet I’m still frozen and cannot move a single inch.

This dream has been constantly happening for at least 2 years now, I have a few things that I think might cause why this nightmare keeps happening, but first I want to see someone's else opinion about them.

I read a few other topics on this forum and it seems I have sleep paralysis, one mentions a buzzing sounds but it seems I have a laughter.

I try to be a very funny guy and that might be the reason for the laughter, I also think the reason I can't move is because I don't have a choice in the life I'm following, I'm a college student and I just work and work and follow a direction my parents tell me to follow so I have no control over what I want to do.

Just looked at all the topics about sleep paralysis and now I feel silly, should've searched before I made this topic.

No reason to feel silly.

Sleep paralysis can occur when you are under a lot of stress or when you're not getting enough sleep.

Could that explain your instances of sleep paralysis?
