Default understanding my dream

Had a dream last night of a whippet killing 2 wild rabbits ,i saw it shake them and bring back to the owner that was stood next to me, he asked me if i wanted some and i said i preferred to see them alive but would take some, when i got home i started washing these rabbits and there was lots and lots of them , as i was towel drying them some was coming alive and jumping off the work unit and hopping into the back room , i have whippets and they was watching them scatter all over but none of them touched them, they all disappeared under the sofas and fire and i didnt know what to do with them all, i was making plans to take them back to where the man gave me them but woke up.
Anyone have any ideas what this dream could mean ?

Could the whippet be a play on the term whip it? Like something is being beaten down or punished? Or something being whipped into shape?

The wild rabbits could represent unrestrained sexual prowess. Do you or someone you know needs to tame their sexual urges and become monogamous?

Does any of this resonate?

very interesting , we have whippets that we race and they have a strict regime , lots of exercise and a strict diet so what youve said in the first instance about being whipped into shape is interesting .
on the second account ,i dont know of anyone needing to tame their sexual urges, i might have done a few years ago ,but thankfully not myself lol.

thanks for the reply

You're welcome.

About the wild rabbits, rabbits breed a lot so that's why I thought about the sex angle. But I guess you could try thinking about what rabbits mean to you. For example, rabbits would be a natural food source for the whippets, so it could be contrast between predator and prey.

Maybe the whippets eating the rabbits - eating food that they've hunted and killed rather than food that was given to them - has something to do with releasing their (your) wild, instinctive nature
