I can't give very much info on this dream but I really need some sort of answer to help my son, as this dream really freaked him out!!! So here is all he was able to remember of the dream....We are living in my father's house and he went downstairs to get something, he got on the floor and reached under something to get something {(the basement is a 3 small bedroom one of the bedrooms he refuses to go into because his uncle died in it the year of 911 and livingroom)} As he was reaching for whatever it was that he was suppose to get, he got bit by a spider multiple times and died, as he died he woke up terrified and now is afraid to sleep. Can anyone help understand this dream???

How's his health? Does he have a cold or exhibiting symptoms of illness? I find when I have dreams about bugs and spiders attacking me, it means my immune system is run down and "bugs" are invading. Then I get sick.

He probably also harbors some subconscious fears, such as death. Depending on his age, he made need plenty of reassurance that you will be there to protect him from whatever it is that is "bugging" him.

He has a thyroid problem and we ran out of medication for about a week but other then that, he is in pretty good health, I do know he is worried about his brother who has Cystic Fibrosis and we discovered last month that he has gotten a little worse.

It could be that his anxiety over his brother heightened his fear in the dream. I hope he gets some sleep. Maybe some more hugs and reassurances are in order. Good luck!
