As a gamer, I tend to go through cycles; sometimes games can be my main interest and hobby taking up most my time, then... I could just give up. Right now, online gaming has become (and has sort of revived my gaming interest) quite the hobby, which leads me to this thread.
See, for the first time in quite a while I had a videogame dream last night. I dreamt I was actually in the videogame for real. The game in question is actually the games, an amalgamation of all the games I've been playing recently: TFC, DoD and CS....all the elements were there only for real.
Since I consider dreams to be an extension of conscious thoughts and fantasies, these dreams are no surprise to me. Games after all are escapism so why shouldn't my dreaming include these interests.
Well, I just wondered if anyone else gets these kinds of dreams?
If I do lot of gaming I will tend to dream abt it, one minute I could be flying my hind and the next Im on a TFC map probably going to the shops when I'm attcked by a soldier or something, gets weird sometimes so I try to limit myself.

Kind of a relief to know I'm not the only one. I think. Last time Games haunted my dreams was when I discovered Deus ex. I guess the more involving a game is the more likely you're to dream about it.
...btw, I was as bad at TFC in my dreams as I am in real life, oh the pain of it!
lol Yeah I had a dream like this a few nights ago. I was in the game spiderman2. It was pretty cool. I climbed to the top of the tallest building in the game a jumped off, shooting out a web at the last minute. After that I swung around new york (and also slammed into a few buildings lol). too bad the dream didn't last longer then i could have figured out how to beat mysterio.

I had one where I was playiing Age of Empires II Expansion with other forum member players. i was in the game like in virtual reality but I was watching the game being played. I was an outside character
I used to play Dungeons and Dragons years and years ago; I remember I used to dream that I could lift up the ground like a carpet anywhere on Earth and climb underneath to D and D land.
strangely i had a dream that i was in a sword fighting game at my old school and i had lost and i woke as a red figure with a sword loomed over me!!!!!
