Default Bleeding to Death

Hi, new here.
I have had ongoing nightmares about bleeding since I can remember, ussually the dreams involve my teeth (losing control). However, my nightmares had stopped recently after I got on anti-deppressant medication. But I had another one last night. In this dream my wrist was cut ans bleeding, as well as my left foot. My friend was overdosing on some drug (weird because I don't have any friends who do drugs), anyway, I dragged her to the hospital (dragged because my foot was hurt). There they took her and I was left in the waiting room as I slowly bled to death, no one came to take care of me.
I also had a dream just before that one, the same night, where my left foot was bleeding, although I can't remember anything else about that one.
Any interpretation helps, thanks.

Blood
The Dream Dictionary,

http://www.meaningofdreams.org/dictionary.htm#b

says this about blood:

It is the life-giving, vital part of our physiology and it may symbolize our strengths and weaknesses and our physical and mental health. If you are currently experiencing a very difficult time in your life, you may have dreams with bloody and frightening images. Don't worry; you may be venting your fears! Some believe that when you see blood in your dream, the distressing situation in your life, which is at the root of the dream, has come to an end, and the worst is over. Consider the details and the relationships between of all the symbols in your dream before making an interpretation.

I think this makes sense considering what you have been through.

Maybe dreaming about your friend having an overdose is a way of saying that you have been through "too much".
