A scattered dream...

Alright here goes...

The dreams starts out in a large underground building. The walls all the same shade of cream. Shops, that look to be booths, as if at a fair/carnival. I am behind one of them. Selling jewelry, but I don't want to be here, in fact, it as if i am a slave. Someone walks over, im guessing the owner, she is accusing me of stealing the jewelry. I tell that i am not and she walks away. I look down to find myself actually holding stolen jewelry. I drop it and shove it under the chair that is in front of me.

I finally get up and leave the building.

I turn around towards the building, the sun looks like it is setting. I also just notice that the building, is actually a dam! And the water behind it is breaking the building. I run back inside screaming and telling everyone to leave. They all begin to run out.

Suddenly as im leaving, I here a deep dark voice, telling me I cannot run from him. I turn and the water is rising, like a tsunami.

I begin to run away and find myself upon a trailer. I open the door and there are two dogs, exactly alike. I realize that these dogs are mine. ( last year my puppy died. A white a cream colored Pekinese/poodle mix) Her name is comet...I am so happy to see her im crying and i go to pick both of them up, one excitedly jumps into my arms and i snuggle her. The other backs off, as if mad or scared of me...

I suddenly remember about the water...I try to gather the other comet, but she wont come to me...I still want to save her...but she wont let me...

I finally leave with the one dog I have, she becomes quiet as i make it to a large wall of rock...everyone from the dam is climbing it, I begin to climb it, the water is behind me. I can't reach the top with comet in my arms, I drop her and cry as i reach the top with the others. I hear comet barking....

The water is smashing up against the wall...over and over...the voice yelling at me...

I hear comet barking...I turn around...there she is as if trying to telling me something...behind us there is a building that is open, the door is like a garage door, I jump down from the wall and we slide under the door...Im running again...I turn around as i hear the deep voice again... i see water....and then...I wake up..

Can anyone please tell me what they think about this?

After I have this dream, I tend to wake up crying. I know it is because of seeing my puppy in the dream but i still get the feeling she is with me... especially after dreaming of her.

I think the part of the dream about the dam breaking/tsunami has do to with strong emotions that you are trying to hold in but can't (that could be related to your waking up crying.)

This could be related to the death of your dog or something else that has made you sad; it's possible your mind is using the death of your dog as a general symbol for grief/sadness and the dream could be about something else that has been difficult or traumatic for you.

The part about the stolen jewelry could have to do with you feeling that you've gotten something that you haven't worked for or don't deserve. That could be a feeling that is related to grief, wondering why someone you love suffered but you didn't.

About the two dogs - the happy dog is how you remember Comet and how you want her to be; the other dog could be how you feel that Comet thinks of you, because you didn't save her in waking life. They could also reflect conflicting feelings about something else.
