I don't exactly know how to explain this dream, but here goes:

I wake up and see someone standing in the corner. At first I am too scared to get up and see who it is, until I realize I am dreaming. I get up and turn on the lights. I am standing in the corner. At first I am confused because I appear to be in two places at once. Then I realize I am not the person standing in the corner. I am someone else. I look at my arm. It's pale and shimmering. The me-in-the-corner looks afraid. I do not feel afraid by this at all. I leave my house and I wake up.

If this dream confuses you, join the club. I have had this same dream where I am simultaneously two people a total of six times now over the course of a few months. Any ideas?

It isn't unusual to dream about being someone else.

Since this dream has been happening over the past few months, I would say that it reflects something that is going on in your life, or that something recently has brought up a memory from your past.

The dream could have to do with you not being connected to a part of you. The fact that the "you in the corner" looks afraid but you aren't afraid could have to do with you repressing your emotions, disconnecting yourself from the part of you that experiences negative emotions.

My emotional state? Pessimistic, lethargic, and impatient. But that is quite normal for me.
