Okay I keep having these dreams where there is this one guy who claims to be my boyfriend and no matter what I do, I can't see his face. I can see the back of him and that he has black hair. I know I haven't seen him before and he has just started to appear in all of my dreams at some point in them. Sometimes I'm stuck in a car with him and we are driving down the road in some futuristic city and others we are just like at my house or around where I live. The most recent was I was in my room putting this weird glittery makeup on and he just came up behind me and was like "You know you are mine right? I'll never let you go." and I am thinking that I don't know this guy and I might never will. Can anyone tell me what this means? Is this someone I am going to meet in the future or is it like someone I am destined to be with? I am totally lost.

The pioneer psychoanalyst believed that we each have in our dreaming mind a figure of the other sex. In men it is called the animus, in women the anima. My guess is that this Mystery Man is an animus figure.

There's just no way of knowing (my crystal ball is broken) whether he represents someone you are going to meet or are "destined" to be with but, if he sticks around and stops being so annoying, you may find he has a lot of traits you are looking for in your lifetime man - or even traits that you are attracted to, but know aren't good for a relationship.

I'd continue to pay attention to these dreams and see what develops; and post them here if you want the ideas of others.
