i have had a dream about my son for many years ,, it is not the same each time but it always happens on the same road , he is sometimes walking , sometimes on a bike and sometimes in a car ,, he is always injured by a car , this road is a road on his way to school, i have asked him not to ride a bike or roller blade on this road and he has been very good about not doing it , last year he was out with some friends as usual , he is now 20 so i dont worry about the road anymore, anyway i was in my bed asleep and i heard sirens off in the distance ( this is real) i went back to sleep and was awoken several hours later by my son, he told me he was in a bad car accident , the driver of the car rolled the car and hit a poll several feet off the ground , my son was in the passenger seat.my son injured his back but was ok after a few months . the accident took place on the road i had been dreaming about for years. is this all just a coincidence?i thank God my son is ok but i still worry it may not be over. thankyou ,,,lor...p.s sometimes in my dream my son is killed by the car.....

I think it’s very natural for a parent to worry about their child, dreams about your child being injured are very common, and understandable. I think no matter where you lived you would have had some kind of worries about your son being injured in some way; if you lived near a river you would probably have worried that he might fall in it all the time he was growing up – if it turned out that he did fall in the river eventually it doesn’t mean that your dream has come true in any magical sense, it’s just something that had a chance of happening. Just like being in an accident on the road where you live has a chance of happening; I bet most of the parents on your street have had similar dreams about their child being hurt, for some of them it might happen, for some of them it wont. One thing is for sure though; you’ll never truly stop worrying about your child, no matter how old he or she is.

thankyou ,, yes you are correct i will always worry ,, the odd thing about it all is the road i dream is not close by me it is a road that used to take him to school , he has not been to this school for two years , and his accident was a year ago . i do believe as a parent it is our right to always worry about our children, i have always been a bit of a worrier and my children know this , they have also always tried their best to help me worry less by listening to me and my concerns . i am very grateful there was an angel with my son that night as i saw the crash place and it could have been fatal . every parents night mare . thank you for your help i do feel much better now ...lor.
