this dream came the other night and i cant seem to get it out of my mind......
I was standing on a hill with my husband , and we were looking at the sky , i saw something i am assuming was a plane and it blew up or exploded in the sky , my husband started running but i stood there watching as a fighter plane appeared and pointed right at the exploded plane , and then it backed up and vanished, i looked to see my husband still running and when i turned to run i saw people coming up the hill i was standing on , they all had guns in their hands and when i turned to run in the direction they were running i realised i had a baby in my arms! , i held the baby tight and i was shot in the back , i can only remember seeing my husband looking back at me as i fell to the ground and all the debrie from the explosion above was coming towards me . this is when i woke up , i was greatly disturbed by this dream...lor..

I remember reading in a book that dreams of explosions such as the ones in your dream often denote creativity. The baby could represent a new project or endevour you are doing or on. Perhaps you fear either it (the new project or endevour) will "burn you out" or that some catastrophy will make it screech to a halt or vanish.

Thankyou for your reply , I am not sure what it could be , although I have some problems I am trying to resolve by ending and yes I do believe they may have backfired ! , it has been a concern for me for the past two weeks , and as hard as I tried ,
i could not make anyone understand so I suppose this is what the dream may have been about. I just wish I could stop dreaming because I find them so disturbing most times.I am not sure I really ever dream anything good . I wish I could dream something happy.lor...

I cannot ever recall a ''Happy dream'', My dreams are always disasters, dead bodies, someone ''hunting '' me with weapons, airplane crashes, bags of bodie parts, being lost in a forest trying to find my kitty i lost ( he died a few years ago.) , I dream of an old lady who appears often in many of my dreams , she doesnt speak but i can hear what she is saying, And i fly in my dreams , i fly very fast across fields.
I do not watch bad movies and hardly ever watch news and things disturbing, I have had these dreams since i was a child.
My life is a good life , I have a beautiful family and two wonderful children , My daughter dreams very simular to me, she very rarely has a nice dream,.
I wonder if perhaps i just dont remember the 'happy'' ones. I wish i could.

It's a bit worrying that you only remember bad dreams. It might be that you have just as many, or even more, good dreams than bad ones, but the emotional intensity of the bad dreams might cause you to remember them more easily.

You might want to try some of the techniques here for remembering your dreams . You should start to remember more dreams. Hopefully, you will remember some good dreams, but if it turns out you are having even more bad dreams than you thought you were, you might want to see a counselor or a doctor.
