Hassoun is on the dream path to enlightenment
Default car and ex-lover

I dreamt that my ex-girl, who just broke up with me approximately 3 weeks ago (and I am still not completely over) and Im still inlove with but have trying my best to move on. Im doing alright actually, except when I see her, and im all butterflies and nerveous again.

I dreamt she was driving in a black suv and i was sitting next to her and my mother (who i dearly love)and my aunt (who i dont care much for) were sitting in the back. My ex and I were happy allover again, like everything was better than ever and we hopelessly in love. Soon after, we were driving under a highway bridge and we stopped off at an enterance of a subway station and she was leaving and I kissed her goodbye and she happily skipped to the subway station.

Afterwards, my mother was happy and my aunt was threatening me saying (if you hurt her or break her heart, i will bla bla bla) and i didnt really care. And i remember after that i was walking with a unknown friend on a sidewalk and I saw a friend/co-worker driving a burgundy car really slowly and there was fire comming from underneath the hood. and i yelled for him to stop and when he got out i had to point it out to him that his car was on fire, so we got an extinuisher and it was empty. We eventually put the fire out somehow and when we did the car was like a burnt to a crisp.

Anyone wanna take a shot?

Thanks,

Hassan H.

It appears as if even your dreams are telling you that your girlfriend is "skipping off happily" toward new adventures, and you are not included in on the ride. You do not say whether or not you left off on a good note with her, but your dream would tend to indicate you at least wanted to do that.

It sounds as if your aunt does care for you, and wants to offer her best opinion. That your mother was "happy" after the girl left is noteful, as well. Perhaps she believes you are better off without her?

DO you have a friend with a burgandy colored car? When was the last time he checked it out? Quite possibily you have driven with him in the recent past, and noted a slight "odor" that you weren't consciously aware of at the time, and it could be that he will soon develop car problems? Or at least, be on the watch for your friend/co-worker to be test driving a "new set of wheels".

That you were able to put the fire out tells me that you handle problems efficiently and without hesitation. A good trait!

I think this dream mostly involves you thinking about the possibility of you getting back with this girl. It doesn't mean that you really want to get back with her in real life. It's just normal for your dreaming mind to ponder different possibilies.

The fact that you were in a car with someone you love dearly and someone you don't care for much makes me think that you are thinking of the two different sides of your relationship with your ex, the good and the bad of the relationship. This relates to the fact that your mother was happy about the kiss, and the aunt didn't like it.

The fire in the car sounds like a warning to you to be careful or you could be in danger (not necessarily physical danger; it sounds more like emotional danger.) The fact that by the time you put the fire out the car was burnt to a crisp could reflect a worry that if you do something, it might set events in motion that you can't stop.
