Morbid Baby Dreams

I'm sorry, I know I'm posting alot, I am just really curious about these things.

I've had two freaking CREEPY morbid dreams about dead babies in the past year. The first one was like a funeral...and there were three dead babies floating in glass caskets filled with water and rose petals. The second one...I was laying on a couch watching a freaky movie and there was a dead baby floating on the ceiling above me. There are alot more details to both of these stories, but it would take too long to type. So I'm just summing it up for anyone who has any thoughts...

A dead baby sounds like it could stand for an idea or an event that was planned but never came to be, or a goal that was never reached.

The fact that the babies were floating in water could mean that you feel insecure about something or that you are in an unsafe situation. This is because the water represents floating in embryonic fluid in the womb---a safe and warm place. The caskets and funerals are the end to that safety.

That's interesting...I suck at interpreting these things...thanks for yer help. Do you suppose it could maybe be a miscarriage? I don't get it...that wouldn't relate to anything I've gone through...I dont know.

If a miscarriage doesn't relate to anything happening in your life, then the dream probably doesn't have to do with that.

Have you considered that you may know of someone who may have experienced a miscarriage? As was stated above, it could well be that some plans never bore fruit, either, and subsequently "died". Was it raining the night you had these dreams?

I had thesse dreams on seperate nights, and I'm not sure when the first one was..no, it was not raining during the second one. However, I know that I had the first in the past year, and my aunt had a miscarriage in the past year. She is very close to me, but I didn't even know about it when it happened. And thismay sound awful of me, but when I did hear about it, I forgot. She brought it up later in conversation and I had forgotten all about it. Anyway, I have no idea if they were anywhere around the same time at all...but also, after BOTH of the dreams, I found out that a close friend of mine's mother was going through a miscarriage. She had been having dreams similar to mine.

My aunt thinks it symbolizes the death of innocense. Me growing up. Because I have had great trouble in the past few years with moving into different stages of my life...growing up and letting go of my childhood.
