I'm at a public soup kitchen and a young women with mental retardation sits down next to me with her social worker. I notice she has a bowl of cream of wheat like I have with bluberries. I say to her "See, I have a bowl of gruel too." She glances at me and simply says "You're nothing." end.

I don't know why, but I thought this dream was hilarious.

Heh, there's nothing quite like a dream that makes you laugh, the comedy works on so many levels that you can't get in waking life. I sometimes wake up laughing like a fool but when I explain the joke it doesn't sound anywhere near as funny as when I was asleep.

Sometimes the reverse is true. I've shared some dreams with the members of the dream group I attend. While I'm reading them, they are all laughing their arse's off, but while actually dreaming it, didn't seem funny to me at all.
