In the dream, I was in the journalism room at my school and the new journalism teacher (a woman) was ordering everyone around and telling us that we weren't going to make the deadline. All of a sudden, she turned into my old journalism teacher, a young male. He told everyone to edit their stories, but me and this one other guy didn't have articles to edit. He told the guy to wait a minute and he told me to come with him in a deserted hallway and invited me to the teachers christmas party. I asked him if it was a date and he said "I don't like to call it that, but would it be a problem if it IS a date?" And I said "No, of course not." and we smiled flirtaiously at eachother. Then I woke up.
What does this mean? This teacher actually doesn't even teach at my school anymore, but when he did, he used to sit with me and my friend at soccer games and he shared snacks and blankets with us while acting like he was our friend too.

It would help to have a little background info on the teacher. From just the reading, I'm judging that he really was looking for a date! This is normally not acceptable behavior for a teacher to sit with students on blankets and socialize.
