Default A Whole Lotta Dough

dream 12/28/05

I'm an employee in a restaurant/deli. We are putting together an order. Someone ordered several varities of bread stuffs---muffins, rolls, and baked bread; $120.00 worth to be exact. I assume it's for a party. But I did find it odd that they would order so much bread and no other type of food.

Also, one of my co-workers is a character named Mike Logan from an American crime-drama called Law & Order. He looks upon the whole bread thing as peculiar, but with a certain amount of disinterest. That's also typical of his character.

Are bread and dough slang terms for money where you live? They are here so it's hard not to read that into it, but if they aren't for you then it's obviously nothing much to do with that?

Bread and dough are indeed slang for money here in America. That's why I gave the dream that particular title.

I have been feeling rather "abundant" lately, as I enjoyed the holiday fare and havent' been foolish with my money. So, I guess I can say I have extra "dough" in both wallet and belly.

I guess that kind of explains it then really, the lawyer being disinterested in the wealth reflecting your disinterest in spending it all.
