Here is my dream

In my dream I am living in a small cramped apartment with people in my past that have done me wrong. In the dream there is no tension between us. It was like we were all there living together because we need each other.

I am walking around with a glass of water. The water looks cool and inviting and then before I take a sip the glass completely shatters in my hand. In my dream I am witnessing myself. When the glass shattered I made a such a face like I was in trouble. Then I witness myself running to another room to get another glass of water and it too shatters and I make that face again...I also do not want the others to see. I just really upset about the glasses.

Can anybody take a stab at this?

First, you are with people who wronged you. There is an emotional element in the glass of water. Water is often a symbol of the emotions. Despite being with the people who have wronged you in the past, the cool inviting glass of water means you have gone beyond the troubles of the past.

Then the glass shatters. My guess is that you fear another altercation with someone. Either that altercation has recently occured or you fear it will. You fear getting into trouble.

You are upset about the glasses. Shattering glass could be a symbol for something in your life the abruptly ends or a previous conceived idea or belief has been challenged. Does this sound familiar?
