I have 2 recurring dreams that i would love to shed some light on the meaning behind them!

1. There is an emergency of some kind and i need to telephone the emergency services - however i get to the telephone and try to dial the number 999 (i live in england)but the numbers won't dial. On the display screen on the phone it comes up with 445 or any other number but 999 that i am desparately trying to dial. Basically it ends with me still pressing 999 but with other numbers dialling instead so i never get through. I need some help with interpreting this dream!

2. i am being attacked by a man and he comes at me with razor blades or a knife trying to slash me and i reach out and grab the blades with my hands which cuts into them. The dream ends there.

I wonder do you know who you are trying to call, Police, Fire, Ambulance or Coast Guard etc?

Are you looking for help for yourself with the call?

I think it's help for someone else and it's usually trying to call an ambulance - sometimes the police.

I guess the obvious conclusion might be that you'd like to help someone in your life but you feel that you are unable to get through to them. Like you keep trying to do things to help someone, or perhaps a situation, and you can't get a handle on how to accomplish this.

Maybe you think someone is not listening to you, or you feel that you aren't connecting in the right way. What do you think?
