the last few nights: I basically wake up, walk around and then realise i'm actually still dreaming. It's been quite disturbing, I mean I wake in my bedroom and do what I'd usually do. It just kept happening over and over; wake up, think "this isnt real" then wake up again and it would be the same all over again..each time became harder for me to suss out. I was affraid I would never actually wake up.

A lucid dream I suppose, it felt like something was trying to keep me there, prevent me from regaining conciousness. I don't want to go back to bed now :s

I get that quite a lot; it used to freak me out a bit too. Makes you wonder sometimes if what you're doing is actually a dream and you're going to wake up, a bit like being in the Matrix or something...

edit: If you do it again do what I do, try doing something that would normally be impossible; that way you'll know you're still dreaming. You can actually have quite a lot of fun with it, like jumping around and climbing up the walls, again like being in the Matrix. Manipulate the situation and have a laugh. I like to leap out of my window and float to the ground; but I always do a test first in my room to make sure I'm not actually awake, though when you wake up properly there's never any real doubt.

Unfortunatly I couldn't, that's the scary bit. I was aware I was dreaming but i had absolutly no control. As soon as I attempted to do owt spontaneous the dream just became like a laggy videogame and I moved as though walking knee deep through thick mud.

That's when I re-awoke and it'd all start again.

I have often had dreams where i also felt very weak.Its like you can't even punch your way out of a paper bag.

I forgot to mention that only creative/artistic people usually have those kind of dreams; it's sort of your mind challenging you to think beyond the normal limits of possibity... So, it might be spooky, but it is a good thing in the long run.

I agree, though it's not really that spooky when you think of all the possibilities in the universe.
