Hi,

I woke up from this dream just about crying.

I haven't spoken to my family in years. Long story.......

Anyway I had a dream about my family last night.

I was sitting back in my parents home, which they have moved from since I have left home. I was sitting on the couch and everyone looked the same to me all of my nieces, nephew, sister, mother.

Well I was sitting on the couch because supposedly my husband and I left each other and I started crying and my mother brought out books of pictures of all of the kids and family and I started bawling my eyes out.

She told me she was very sorry for what she did to me and I told her that I could never speak to her again but yet I still loved her.

I went to the phone to call my husband to come pick me up and he told me No that I should stay back with them.

All of a sudden I went outside and there was my oldest niece running up to me to give me a hug, so I went to go hug her and she died in my arms. My sister ran up to me and asked me what I did and I said that she must have died from a broken heart for what you did to me, and my sister and I got into a really big fight and then my mother came out and told me to leave, then all of a sudden my husband came to pick me up.

I left will my belongings, which I never had anything back at this house, but had bags of stuff in my arms.

Then I woke up.

I don't know why I am having these dreams lately.

I am not really a dream-expert and I'm only just 16 but I think I know what your dream could mean.

I think this dream is about the longing to belong to a pieceful family, the families we see a lot on tv. But those families do not exist and I think we all know that deep inside, but we all secretly want everyone to just get together and that everything will be okay. Sometimes when we do certain things in real life we are proud of, we want to let our family know, it's one of the first reactions and it causes dreams like these to show up.

That's what I think the apolagy of your mother could mean; you might want her to say that. The phone call to your husband could represent the fear you might have of being abandoned. The niece dying in your arms could mean you just want to close the 'family' chapter. (death in dreams = the ending of certain things but also new beginnings). The fight with your sister means that you will perhaps never be able to close the chapter piecefully and in a normal way, or at least in the way you want it to close. The stuff you are leaving behind are probably emotions & feelings. You are running away from them, but they remain at their house, which could mean you still have strong feelings for them.

The reason why you might be having these dreams is because something in real life happening that you would like to talk to them about.
