Hi,

I had a really weird (perhaps long) dream.

First I was at home. I was looking at a picture and I found a ticket from a trip we made in 2000 by airplane (in my dream it was an airplane, in reality we went by boat that year). Suddenly I am in that plane again, and in 2000. With the ticket I can also get off the plane and that way I can time-travell and I'm very happy in my dream about that. The first thing I think about is the mistakes I can undo with this.

However some things cannot be done, for example I can only view films on board that I viewed in 'real' 2000. These films are Aladin and something with aliens. While watching it, I am suddenly IN that second film, in some parimid that I cannot get out of.

Then I am out of the film again and I see an elevator. I get in it even though it is really full. We are going up. The elevator goes really high, and because the 'roof' of the elevator is made of glass, I can see that at one point we hit the top. Suddenly we are going down again and then up again - this goes on for a while. Some people panic because the elevator is stuck between to floors. Then there is a weird sound and we fall down so fast that I cannot keep my feet on the floor; I am litterally against the ceiling. People scream and I remember thinking in my dream (calmly): this is it, I am going to die now.

I hear a boom and then I am looking at the picture again like at the beginning of my dream. I go back to the plain in '2000' and I try and save this people and it works but after a lot of 'going back'.

What could this mean?

It sounds like the elevator represents fears of what could happen to you in the future. You can't control whether it goes up or down or gets stuck, just as you can't totally control what happens in the future in real life.

The dream starts out with you going into the past because the past is safe because it doesn't change, but then you are forced to move from the past into the future, when you go on the elevator.
