I would love your help on 3 dreams that I had about an ex work colleague. They were all really powerful vivid dreams leaving my heart racing after each one. But the really freaky thing was the contact just after I had the dreams. They happened over the course of a year and started about 9 months after she had left the place I worked. This is them in brief.

The first dream we were sitting on a sofa . She said “I’m so tired,” then put her head on my knee. It was so real and the dream felt so natural. But the day I had the dream she contacted me by email, that very day. I hadn’t heard from her for several weeks before then. I thought nothing of it but kept it in the back of my mind.

The second dream happened about 4 months later and was very shocking. There were no images just her voice very clear as if she was in the same room. She said my name and then uttered the words “I love you.” I woke up suddenly in a bit of a shock. It was extremely vivid. The freaky thing is she contacted me again by email that same the day of the dream. I was very shocked by this and made a note of the date that this happened.

The last dream happened 9 months later. This time I dreamed that she came into a room and I was standing there. She came over to me and we kissed. The dream felt very real and natural. It left my heart racing especially after what had happened the last 2 times. This time she didn’t contact me by email. She turned up at my work place unexpected . I was very shocked by this because I had no idea that she was going to call by and again it had been about a month and a half since we had last been in contact . I was visibly shaking when this happened. Again I made a note of the dates.

I have tried to rationalize these dreams but find the coincidence of contact after the dreams disturbing. I’ve kept in contact with the person involved as we got on really well when she was at my work. But haven’t mentioned the dreams to her as I ‘m in a secure relationship with someone already and not pursuing another relationship. Is this my mind fantasizing or is there a deeper meaning? Please help.

I believe it was psychic intuition. Sometimes we preview things in our dreams, and this may be the case.

As far as the meaning goes, well that's for you to decide. You stated that you are in a secure relationship already and it sounds like you don't want an intimate relationship with this person.

Do you fear she will persue you?

I don't fear her pursuing me but do fear the pyschic intuition. I'm a great believer that everything in life has a meaning and purpose.

If I am seeing something into the future I am convinced that it will happen naturally in the course of time. Just like 2 of the dreams felt so natural the outcome will happen naturally. It is not for me to alter their course.

You're right in saying that I don't want an intimate relationship with her at this time. I do however feel a bond with her, when our paths do cross, even before I started having the dreams.

I just don't feel it is right or my duty to decide on the course of my pyschic intuition.

I do agree. Since you do believe that things happen for a purpose, then maybe it's best to wait and see how these occurances will play out. In the meantime, try not to worry. Perhaps you will get an unsuspected, but pleasant surprise.

I'm a pretty easy going person but I do from time to time worry about having another one of these dreams and the feelings that surface from them. The future I do not worry about.
