In April I lost a very close friend of mine and last night I had a dream that He was a ghost and that I could see him, I started calling all the friends that knew him on a cell phone to come and see if they could see him also. I rushed over to where his wife is and told her that I could see him and asked her if she could see him to, but I don't remember if she could. Then I grabbed a digital camera to take a picture of him and he came out on the picture! What do you think about this dream?

Did you friend say anything to you in the dream?

If not, it could be repressed emotions manifesting themselves in your friends' silence and being a ghost, a shadow of his former self.

The seeing but not hearing represents all the things you wish you could have said to your friend.

Perhaps you could try and incubate a dream about your friend and see if you can strike up a conversation with him. By incubate, I mean focus on him before sleep and tell yourself that you two will talk.

Thank you sweet slumber for the reply. I have tried to ask Tony to come to me in my dreams so that we can talk since you advised it , but it hasn't happened. But I keep hoping that soon he might! I miss his friendship so much, I can't seem to stop mourning.
