It starts out me with 3 friends (they are my friends in the dream, however in real life i have never seen them before). We just finished a big job of some sort (we are customs agents). We are eating at a place thats similar (or maybe it is) IHOP. One of the friends is significantly older than the other two, like 40s and we are mid 20s (maybe he's our boss). He (the 40 something year old guy) then tells us about this crazy drug trafficer that has a headquarters in Hawaii who used to be a good friend until he started doing illegal stuff (drug trafficing) about 10 years ago. He asks if us 3 are in. My friends say yes, but I say no because im in my mid 20s and havent started college yet, and my parents decided to pay for my tuition at the university of pittsburgh.

After some "Are you sure?" stuff, we notice things crawling at our feet. Turns out the resturaunt has a bit of a rat problem. There is dead rats in the corner of the room, and like 20 rats are fleeing to the dead rats to i guess eat the other rats. We disgustingly leave and I wake up.

Ok, first is just a wierd dream, or is there any hidden meaning about this dream?

The only bit of help i can help with analyzing is the university of pittsburgh part. Im from pittsburgh, and it was one of my top schools, however I think it could have been because I was watching the pittsburgh vs cincinatii college football game last night, and that got infused into my dream. Is there anything in your waking life that you're thinking of getting involved in, or starting? It doesn't have to be illegal or dodgy like in the dream, just something you are thinking about and are not sure of.

I don't know what IHOP is. Perhaps the customs agents, and you working with them, represent the trafficing of ideas in and out of your head, an official department for filtering out the bad ideas from the good ideas or weighing up the ideas to see if they are good or bad?

The dictionary says this about rats:

actually, i havent been really getting involved in anything. I recently broke my knees and right ankle, and have been confined to a bed for the past 3 weeks. Its absolutely terrible and I cant stand it.

However, that might explain the rats....

IHOP = the International House of Pancakes.

What a fantastic name! I guess the reality isn't quite so nice as the image I have in my mind though, it sounds like a Biritish government institution from Monty Python.
