I normally do not remember my dreams, but last nights dream was weird! My mother, my daughter and my BF were in my dream. I have not seen my mother in 2 years. ..

We we in my living room. I noticed a huuuge red tarantula on my couch, big like sci-fi movie big. I wasnt scared and no one else seemed to notice it. After a few moments, somehow I forgot about it and sat on the couch. Then remembering that thing was on the couch I got up really quick and dusted off my behind. The tarantula was now stuck to my hand, still very red, but much smaller than it was initially. I didn't feel a bit or anything, but I was definately scared. I asked my mom to get it off me. She did, it was then I noticed a big hole in the left tip of my middle finger and it was beginning to swell. I was squeezing it and fluid was oozing out. I looked at my mom and said " Am I going to Die?"

Right then my alarm went off and I woke up........

I read someowhere that all spiders EXCEPT tarantulas are a good omen... but what about this big red hairy thing in my dream??

Personally I don't really believe in 'omens' as such regarding dreams, it's more to do with how the dream makes you feel, or how you feel about the images in it.

The dream dictionary on this site does mention the good omen thing, but only as an archaic reference:
Perhaps you can work some ideas from this into your dream that includes your mother?
