Last night I dreamt I decided to take a car trip by myself- I had drawn up maps but I remember when I was looking at them in the car, there were streets drawn but no names on any of them. I stopped to buy my father a birthday present, which is odd because his birthday is long past, and I got him billiard balls! (We've never had a pool table and he doesn't play pool...) Then I started driving again. I felt comfortable at first, but when I realized I wasn't sure where I was, I got a little worried. Then the street I was on became one-way, so I was wondering to myself how I would get back. Then I was out of my car and in some crazy place where there were wild animals all around. I was very scared, because they were walking right around me. Any ideas? Thanks!

You have provided yourself with an idea that will help you find your way in an unfamiliar subject area (maps) but the courses of action that have been indicated (the streets) have no real significance or importance. (no names on any of them)

There is an aspect of your mind (represented as father) which you have chosen to honour. (buy father a birthday present). Father can represent a way of thinking representing old opinions which may have given great comfort and protection when you were younger and less knowledgeable. He can also suggest thoughts pertaining to father, himself.
