The first part of the dream I meet up with a woman about my age. She sort of reminds me of a childhood friend that is now grown up, but don't really like now. She is tall and big boned, unlike my small frame. We are standing up on a mound that at the top has a huge bulletin board with scores or dates for something. The woman tells me that there is something wrong with her veins. I ask her if they have "crystallized" and she shakes her head "yes."

The next scene I'm at a place like a compound with one-story flats with solar panels for roofs. It is a community of people, refugees of sorts, including one young man who reminds me of a rock star from the 1980's. It is nighttime and I'm in a vehicle with someone who is trying to tow away another car. I'm not sure why. Then there is a rumbling sound and I know that this means that global warming has finally taken its toll and we are all about to get washed away by flood waters.

Do you think there's a connection between the solar panels and the veins, as in both responsible for distributing power or energy?

Wow, I hadn't thought of that. That is a good contrast, crystallized like ice, and solar panels representing heat.

I know the global warming issue has been on my mind lately. In the last few years we've had unusual weather here. The winters are milder, and normally this time of year we'd see very cold temperatures. It was a mild 50 degrees here today.

I sometimes think what would happen if suddenly the ice caps melted and well, I and everyone I know in this area will be a goner. Kind of scary!

So in essence, the dream is a warning that the system is out of balance.
