I go to visit my friend Ruth, an old classmate whom I haven't seen in ages. I'm standing on a porch and she walks up onto the porch from the walkway and she's much thinner and toothless. She makes distorted motions with her mouth.

Then her family is here with her and somehow I get volunteered to take a bunch of boxed and canned goods to a pantry for the homeless in a distant town called Dexter. I begin loading them into my car, carrying out armfulls from their garage. No one offers to help.

As I load the car, I ask Ruth when we are going, because I don't know how to get to Dexter and she says she can't go today, but tomorrow. "Tomorrow?!" I yell. "That means riding around with the food goods in my car for an extra day!" I'm angry.

I don't load anymore and decide to drop off the goods in my car at the nearest pantry instead of the one my friend had planned. I leave.

It sounds a bit like you're helping people out a lot and don't feel like you're getting much back, and that you feel the need for more support yourself.

I think having to carry stuff around, worring for other people, has been quite a big theme in your life going by some of your other dreams and what you've said too?

Do you get to see friends much? I've been thinking myself recently that I don't friends much anymore, people I used to see all the time, and I kind of miss them. I've been thinking about this a lot as I go to sleep and dreaming about meeting people again.

I went back and looked at my dreams from the past 100 days and I see a recurring theme of past things---friends and relics. I hadnt' noticed that before, but yeah, you're right. One of my best friends moved to Florida and we used to hang all the time. Another one recently passed away and it still hurts.

One good thing, I did go visit a friend who now lives about 35 miles away. It was a nice visit. Even still, we used to hang out a lot and can't anymore.

The part about needing more support could be different things---financial, emotional (although I'm not going through any sort of crisis right now). As far as work goes, I feel I get plenty of support there, which is a good thing.

Now that I think about it, the friend I went to visit yesterday was a very needy individual in the past (the one I mentioned in another dream that is bi-polar), perhaps the dream dealt with that issue. She sometimes had me do things for her with no thank-you and things she could have done herself.
