I have read that blue in a dream can mean depression or can mean spirituality, clarity, open spaces, etc.. I'm not really sure how well it applies in the dream. So, give me your thoughts.
I am house sitting for a friend and they happen to live in a huge house. I am sleeping in the master bedroom and i awake to scuffling and voices. As I look and my eyes begin to focus, I see a young male 16-20 yrs old in the doorway with a bright blue t-shirt on. I am sure there were other colors but this was such a dark bright blue that it stood out for me to remember. Anyway, a group male and female have raided the house and take me hostage. they make me stay in that room and at some point I am transported to a second place (apartment building) where I see the balcony of the floor below is hosting a party and I try to get them to help me, but it backfires, b/c they are connected to this group. I don't remember the rest, but the blue on the ring leader male certainly stood out. What do you think it could mean as it is attached to a negative image????/

Did the blue feel like it meant something in the dream, or was there any emotions or feelings attached to it at the time, is there now?

Also, you try to get the second group to "help" you. You learn they are part of the same group. If the blue stands for spirituality, ask yourself whether or not you are struggling with a belief system. If so, is it one in which you were brought up in? Is there someone else you can go to seek "help" in encouraging you in your changing attitudes? Going to the higher floor as you did in the dream could represent growing up and maturity and the old beliefs no longer feel significant to you.
