I was wondering if anybody can help me with interpreting my dream. I usually have the same recurring dream about a house by the sea (I don't live by the sea). The man I love in real life (who is not my partner) is not directly in my house dream but "there".

A few days ago, I dreamt that this man (who I believe is my soulmate), was the captain of a huge cruise ship I was on. It was a huge white ship and still anchored at the port, somewhere sunny and cheerful, calm waters surrounding the ship...For some reason I was in line behind several women who were all required to give this captain 2 gifts. I was required to give him two gifts as well...What does this mean?

In real life this man is married with grown kids. I'm also married to someone else. We met in a professional setting and nothing physical ever happened but I could tell that sparks flew all over between us--everything was unspoken. We have since slowed down emailing "superficial" stuff altogether, probably because it is so dangerous for both of us....but I think of him all the time. What does this dream about him as the captain of this huge boat mean?

You describe the man as your soulmate. The part with him being captain could mean that he has your feelings captive. Captain and captive sound similiar. And it's also hard to get off a ship once it sets sail.

Did the part where the ship is white make an impression on you? Did the color stand out? If so, how did you feel about the color of the ship? What do you think of when you think of white?

The part where you and the other women are giving him gifts sounds like it will be a fun cruise. A little bit of wish fullfillment perhaps. Also, because there is more than one woman giving him gifts could either represent you and his wife or you, his wife, and other women. Watch out for this one! He probably has another lady on the side.
