hi everyone please help?!

hey everyone im new at this, im just looking for a little help,
ok i had a dream about my very ex boyfriend of a few yrs back, in my dream me were standing in a field hugging , he told me he loved me and that " everything would be different now, since he's been gone for so long". now we were also laying in the field kissing and there were ppl standing around us..

u see i have no clue what this means and its driving me nuts!!! please help

It’s very common to dream about an ex like that, in fact so much so that there's an entry in the Dream Dictionary for it:

thanks, that helped a lot... i think that i am kind of lacking something, like the connection that he and i shared. he isnt a recent ex, actually we dated 4 or 5 years ago. i still talk to him once in awhile on the internet and i saw him a few months back. i just found it weird that i would dream of him now. but i think its just because i might have been thinking about relationships in general lately. thank you.
