What do hamsters in dreams mean? Hamsters crawling all over you, going up your trousers and you are running around trying to get rid of them but they are still there?

I think hamsters often represent being alone and solitude, because they are usually alone in waking life and usually happy to be that way. Maybe you wish people, or someone, would leave you alone? Assuming you know about hamsters being solitary that is.

No, I didn't know they were solitary, I don't know anything about them except some people have them as pets. I have a friend who has 2 hamsters but I haven't seen her for a couple of months. I can't think of anyone I want to leave me alone. I've been off uni for christmas and exams and can't wait to get back to see everyone again.

Hmm, well maybe they do still represent solitude in your dream, but the other way around because you feel like you haven't had enough people around you and you want to have more people around you again?
