Hello Boys and Girls,
It’s been some time since I’ve had a dream that I would consider is worth interpreting, so would be thankful for you comment on it.

The location of the dream was not clear but I would consider it as a clear space. In the beginning of the dream there seems to be 3 people including me standing on a ground, the identity of those 2 are unknown. Soon after I notice a large number of big spiders heading our way and as they come closer they get smaller. When they reach us they seem to be a bit larger then a nut, they are dark grey/light black in color with lots of small hair on their legs and body and having some white/light grey stripes on their hair along their legs and body. The shape of the spider is not like a tarantula type, but rather a black widow type (having a larger body compared to the whole size). When they reach us they swarm us climbing almost on all parts of the body. I look at the other 2 and they seem to be quite scared trying to pull some off them and maybe get bitten in the process as well. However before looking at them I am trying to concentrate and stay calm don’t make any fast moves so not to make these spiders angry. Considering the fact that I am afraid of spiders in RL, I do not loose control and let spiders climb on me. While they are climbing they seem to start hiding themselves in my clothing and after some time less spiders are visible on my body. I notice some of them climb under some part of my clothing (don’t remember which) and I have a chance to step on that clothing to smash them and that’s what I do.
After some time I loose a sense of presence of the other 2, thinking of their death or them being is severe situation after many spider bites, they should have stayed calm as I did. Then I have a feeling that those spiders have left, climbed down or just disappeared, although it is just a feeling. Then I start taking off the part of clothing I remembered spiders were hiding in, which I smashed, and in the process I kind of find some dead spiders on my body or near it. The cloth I removed appears to be just a piece of white cloth folded in 2 and when I open/straighten it there are 4 (I think) dead black spiders inside. All this times I did not felt of saw a spider biting me. Right after that I see my small brother and father teasing large spiders each, they are of the same type as the old ones but much larger in shape, roughly a size of a large melon. They are holding their hand to them, teasing it and the spider tries to bite their hands, after several attempts the bite is successful and I think for myself why the heck they are doing it… soon after that I am waken up by an alarm clock and that’s the end of it.

It was a pretty weird dream for me, could be classified as a nightmare because of my phobia of spiders but it wasn’t. During the whole dream I was calm and although was a bit scared I controlled my feelings and dream body. In case its relevant I’m a 23 year old male…

Before posting here I have looked at several dictionaries on several websites, but the signs in the dream are too complicated for me to analyze fully. So I would be thankful if you could express your ideas about this dream.

I wonder if you have something traumatic or scary looming in the future, at least something you think is going to be pretty scary?

The spiders represent something you are really scared of in real life, not spiders but something else, probably some type of situation. I have dreams about spiders too, and for me it's about my social anxiety, since I am a very shy person. You'll have to figure out what it is for you. This is a good dream because it shows that you are learning to face your fears. It's interesting how the spiders look big from far away, but when they get closer you see that they are small, probably meaning that you are discovering that something that used to scare you isn't quite as bad as you thought it was.
