Last night I had a dream that my Dad died. I was doing some gardening next to my driveway (which wasn't my driveway or my property or any that I had ever seen before). A car drove into the driveway and a woman got out. I recognised the woman but I hadn't seen her or had any contact with her for about 5 years (she had been my tutor when I did some study in 2000/2001) She looked at me and spoke to me as if she knew me well. She told me that my Dad had died and that she was very sorry. I wasn't shocked but I asked her if she knew how he had died. She told me it was a heart attack. I remember feeling a bit upset but then the dream changed to something else.

Could I be dreaming about death because something in my life is about to change?

It could be that, if you're intending to or in the process of making changes yourself.

I'm actually in the process of changing jobs - Ive got a job interview tomorrow. There are two people at this workplace that I have worked with before (in the job that I'm in now) and I know them reasonably well. Maybe the tutor in my dream represented those people and the fact that my dad had died in my dream represented a new beginning. I have a good chance of getting this job because there are only 2 other people going for it. I hope my dream means that I'm going to get the job!!

Well, some people might disagree with me, but I don't think your dreams can actually know for sure you are getting the job, but they do perhaps reflect that your brain is gearing itself up for a change - expecting there's a strong possibility that you will get the job and, even if you don't, it's still indicative of the fact that you want to make changes in your life and your brain is expecting you to one way or the other.

I went for that interview this morning and I found out later today that I got the job!! I still can't believe it, I wasn't sure that I would get the job but I did!! I'm excited, scared and sad all at the same time but I know I won't regret it.
