Default Dreams of being 'trapped'

Last week I had a dream that I was on a train with a few other people that I didn't know (but I knew them in the dream). I can't remember where we were going but it was taking a long time to get there. A few times while I was on the train, the dream changed to something else but then it would come back to me being on the train (my thoughts maybe?) Each time this happened, the train would be a bit further along its journey than it was before. Eventually, we were on the outskirts of the city and the track went over some water. I think it was the ocean. The next thing I knew, I was laying down, with rubble all around me and on top of me. I was trapped and I couldn't move. I could see some metal directly above me, almost touching my face. There was water around me too and rising. It took me a second to realise that I probably wouldn't get out of this alive. Then I heard someone tell me not to be scared and someone else said they couldn't get help because there were no phones. They also said there was no way they could get me out themselves. I knew I was going to die but I wasn't scared. I could hear the people talking about something else but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I knew I couldn't do anything to save myself so I closed my eyes and then I woke up. What does this mean?

It doesn't sound much like it, but I think this could well be connected to your other death dream. Trains, and pretty much any kind of transport, can often represent your journey through life - because we use them in waking life to get from one place to another, our dreams use that same symbol to signify our subconscious journey from one place to another.

Because the train crashes, and you're dying, I would say that this is a sign of upcoming changes that you may be worried about, and your dream (you) is telling you that you can get through it without anyone's help.

Obviously I know about your job now because of your other thread, but knowing that I think there are obvious connections with that and what I said in your death dream thread. If I didn't know about the job the above would still be the same, only I wouldn't know what change it applied to.

I had a feeling these 2 dreams were related, as I had them both within a few nights. After reading other threads about death dreams, I knew they had something to do with change. Well I can tell you now that I went for that job interview this morning and I found out later today that I actually got the job!! I think maybe the dreams I had were also telling me to stay positive because I kept thinking that I wouldn't get the job.
