Had the strangest dream last night
i dreamt that i was in my bed with another girl (i am a straight girl)
it got quite sexual and steamy then a womens voice whispered loudly in my right ear '' Wake Up Wake Up''.
i opened my eyes suddenly n woke up to my room but when i tried to move my arms and legs i couldnt.. i struggled using all my stregnth to move them but they wouldnt move .. i tried shouting but no voice would come out .. after struggling for atleast 5 minutes my voice gave in and i gave out a huge scream , then suddenly i could move everything and i was fine

anyone know as its been playing on my mind all day and im trying to avoid sleeping as i dont fancy being paralized again.
also im completely straight and never even thought about the opposite sex in that way

This sounds like a very common condition called Sleep Paralysis.

There's loads of information about it on the internet, but basically it's believed that your body sort of paralyses you while you sleep so you don't jump about and stuff in real life when you jump about in dreams, so you don't hurt yourself falling out of bed etc... sometimes you can find yourself in a state of half lucid dreaming and half awake where your brain has still got your body in its protective paralyzed state.

There's lots of other ideas about this state, many of them pretty bizarre due to the fact that it feels very strange, sort of like someone is pinning you down.

It happened to me a couple of times many years ago. I think I thought it was a ghosts, but laughed and told it to go away.
